Maison Kitsuné joins forces with Reebok once again to release a Parisian take on the timeless Instapump Fury silhouette. The third collaboration between the two brands sees the laceless sneaker rendered in a white mesh base and off-white overlays, while additional touches of red and blue throughout the design provide a sprinkling of French flair. Notable details include the Eiffel Tower graphic along the heel, co-branded insoles and mismatched outsoles. You can purchase a pair at Maison Kitsuné locations, select Reebok locations and the sportswear brand’s online store for ¥24,000 JPY (approximately $233 USD) starting July 26.
Back in February, Rick Williams and his DISTINCT LIFE creative agency teamed up with Reebok for a special “Distinct Views” edition of the Bolton as a nod to the Motor City. Now Williams and Reebok are back at it, introducing a second “Distinct Views” drop — this time as a nod to the skyline and bright lights of bustling Hong Kong. Draped in rich blue hues, the kicks don premium suede, pigskin nubuck, and leather alike as a white midsole is coupled with red hits to the outsole, special lace jewels and DISTINCT LIFE embroidery on the heel.
Detroit sneaker shop Burn Rubber borrows a line from The Notorious B.I.G. single “Hypnotize” for its latest Reebok Classics Phase 1 collaboration. Dubbed the “Detroit Playas,” a reference to Biggie’s appreciation for the city’s outlandish fashion choices, the shoes were created in celebration of what would have been the late rapper’s 44th birthday.
They’re presented in a pink colorway, in accordance with Biggie’s mention of “Stink Pink Gators,” and feature a mix of suede and alligator-embossed leather on the upper, with hints of reflective 3M throughout.
They’ll hit Burn Rubber’s online store beginning Saturday, April 30.
